Hi, I am Belinda. A Clinical Psychologist and PsyBA Approved Supervisor
About me
I am a registered clinical psychologist and a PsyBA approved supervisor. I am passionate about supporting the growth and development of psychologists, particularly those early in their careers. My supervision focuses on creating a reflective and supportive space where psychologists can strengthen their professional identity, build confidence in their practice, and navigate the complexities of the profession. I am particularly interested in burnout prevention and helping psychologists develop meaningful, sustainable careers that allow them to thrive both professionally and personally.
My passion for this work has been shaped by a diverse career across multiple sectors. I started my career in business management, with a focus on people and talent management. I then pursued a career in psychology, where I spent ten years at The University of Sydney completing three degrees: a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) majoring in psychology and cultural studies, Master of Clinical Psychology, and a PhD in Neuropsychology. During my time at The University of Sydney, I worked in a variety of teaching and research roles, including a postdoctoral fellowship with Growing Minds Australia. I also worked as a psychologist in a private eating disorder service (inpatient and day program), community youth mental health, private practice and in schools. I currently work in a management role in the public sector and provide professional development, training and supervision to psychologists.
These varied experiences have shaped my understanding of psychological work in different sectors and organisations. Where ever you are on your journey, my goal is to support you to grow with intention, strengthen your professional identity and practice, and also build a meaningful and sustainable career in psychology.
